About
I paint to slow time down.
I am an Indian visual artist and graphic designer, based in Paris. I did my bachelors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and later worked as a freelance interior designer. Along with my technical studies, I have continued my practice in art. My works resonate with expressing human emotions in daily life and psychological study, by comparing the impact of different cultures on people through my personal experience. It revolves around learning how different cultures can impact people and bring up different perceptions of common daily life issues.
I have participated in many art competitions and had the opportunity to represent on national and international platforms. I represented India in the International Talent Hunt Competition 2017 conducted by Living Talent, held in Dubai, exhibited my works in London for the International Art Competition 2018 conducted by SAW, won the Art Maestro Award 2018 at World Art Moment, and have been awarded the South Indian Women Achievers Award 2019. Apart from being a visual artist, I am a trained Kuchipudi dancer (Indian classical dance form) and Indian classical vocalist, and have given many stage performances.
